DG Visionaries is the embodiment of my passion for video and audio production, honed through years of mastering the art of visual and auditory storytelling. After graduating from Ball State University, I noticed a distinct gap in the wedding industry—too few businesses truly prioritize their clients' visions with the care and dedication they deserve. That’s why I founded DG Visionaries: to bring your dreams to life through unparalleled creativity, professional expertise, and state-of-the-art tools. Whether it’s an elegant wedding, a polished commercial, or a photo booth event, we approach every project with a commitment to excellence. No detail is overlooked, and no vision is too grand. With a team that thrives on innovation and positive energy, we create timeless experiences that will be treasured for a lifetime.

About Derald Gray

Derald prides himself on turning visions into reality through sight and sound. Growing up in Elkhart, Indiana, he developed a passion for storytelling through video and music, earning the nickname “Video Guy” while creating YouTube shorts with his siblings. Derald studied telecommunications with a focus on video production at Ball State University, where he also DJed for his fraternity, Sigma Nu. In 2017, he landed a life-changing DJ internship that ignited his love for DJing weddings and events. His journey also included a role as a photojournalist, where he received an Emmy Award nomination for a series on bus stop safety that led to legislative improvements. These experiences fueled his entrepreneurial spirit, prompting him to launch DG Visionaries, which has quickly become a sought-after vendor in the Midwest wedding industry. DGV expanded from 16 weddings in 2020 to over 60 in 2024, while also producing commercials, documentaries, and corporate livestreams. Beyond his work, Derald is deeply committed to community development, actively participating in organizations that foster positive change in his hometown. When he’s not capturing moments or creating exceptional experiences, he enjoys working out, spending time with family and friends, and listening to a good audiobook.

Meet the Visionaries

Noah Wright, DJ & MC:
Noah dives headfirst into action as a Visionary to create magical wedding, prom, party and other exciting experiences as a DJ & MC. He provides the Visionary experience in his own unique way through crowd engagement, upbeat live mixes, and personal connections with every client he books. Noah’s passion for music combined with his love for sharing and helping create special moments are truly what makes him a Visionary. When he’s not helping others fulfill their visions, Noah works to accomplish his own as a Music Producer/Engineer and A&R.

Trey Collins, DJ & MC:

As an MC and professional DJ Trey stands out from the crowd. He’s always been the life of the party and has a vibrant personality. During each event he strives to make you dance as if you were the only person in the room. He can read any crowd and pick out songs that perfectly fit the vibe. With an extensive musical background ranging from classical piano to club DJ’ing, Trey has the skills and tools needed to make your wedding reception a party you’ll never forget. In his downtime he enjoys fishing at Lake Michigan and spending time with his children and family.

Wendy Flores, DJ & MC:

Wendy’s been a wedding and events DJ & MC for over five years. She takes great joy in being a part of your special day and works hard to make it an unforgettable evening. Laughs are guaranteed amongst you and your guests, with her bubbly personality. With a background of theater, show choir, and drumming she will get you grooving and beat to the rhythm of your drum. If you require translation, look no further, she can MC in spanish. As an architectural project lead she is very professional, and skilled at understanding her clients needs and interpreting their desires. Her high energy and willingness to help makes her a pleasure to work with. Wendy has always had a deep passion for the arts. In her free time she explores music, makes art, and tends to her dog’s needs.

Cameron Degraffreed, DJ & MC:

Cameron, also known as DJ Marathon, is a dynamic and talented DJ known for his high-energy performances and eclectic mixing style. With a passion for music that spans multiple genres, he’s built a reputation for creating unforgettable experiences at parties, festivals, and private events. Cameron skillfully blends electronic dance music, hip-hop, and pop hits, ensuring that every crowd stays engaged and dancing. His ability to read the room and adapt his sets to fit the vibe has made him a sought-after performer in the music scene. With a commitment to delivering top-notch entertainment and a contagious enthusiasm for music, DJ Cameron has made a name for himself as one of the best up and coming DJs in the Midwest!

Jack Springgate, DJ & MC:

Jack is the “Jack” of all trades for your next event. He’s been involved with music since he was old enough to hold a drum stick, but his passion for music isn’t the only thing he brings to the table. With several years of experience as an on-air talent in the news industry, Jack can take care of any MC’ing duties so you can focus on creating memories. Public speaking is no issue for him, and it adds even more fun to the job! He’ll bring the energy for any kind of mood you’re going for. He has a wide range of music interests but most importantly he’s here to listen. Jack values his professionalism and communication during the planning process and does it because he loves sharing positive memories with others! Count on Jack to give your guests an evening they’ll be talking about again and again.

Halbert Crocker, DJ & MC:
Halbert, also known as “DJ 30x,” is a seasoned disc jockey with a 10-year career spanning weddings, nightclubs, and school events. As a proud parent and music fanatic, he brings a unique blend of international beats and country charm to create the perfect atmosphere for any occasion. With a global perspective from visiting over a dozen countries, Halbert’s eclectic taste shines through, seamlessly transitioning from Bollywood beats to country classics. Beyond the turntables, he is a dedicated single father of four, incorporating his family values into his work. Renowned for his strong work ethic and attention to detail, Halbert is a maestro of religious themes and infuses high energy and infectious vibes into every performance. With a decade of experience, a diverse musical palette, and a commitment to family and professionalism, DJ 30x ensures a harmonious blend of music that turns every moment into a lasting memory.

Sydney Brown, Wedding Planner

Sydney’s been working in the wedding industry since 2019. Through sunshine and storms she’s helped people tie the knot. Sydney found a love for event planning at an early age and enjoys helping couples bring their vision and dreams to life year after year. She’s here to create the day of your dreams and allow you to show your personalities throughout your event to make it memorable for all involved. Her goal is to get to know you, be your friend and someone you can rely on to make your day exactly what you want. Through her resources, organizational skills, creativity, and experience Sydney will turn the vision you have into reality!

Kierra Ready, Live Wedding Painter:

Kierra creates large-scale paintings that bring awareness to real-world issues. Her work explores the relationship between realism and imagination. Anything that can be imagined can be created which is why art is the perfect tool to capture your dream wedding day! Kierra uses the canvas as a gateway to a world filled with infinite possibilities. Her work shows themes of affirming prosperity, resiliency, and excellence. Her style includes surrealistic figures, acrylic on canvas, mixed media, heavily textured pieces, multi-coloured compositions, large canvases and walls. Her specialities include large paintings, paint parties, event/wedding painting, and murals.
